Schloss Dankern Holiday Park

Germany’s largest family-oriented leisure centre, Schloss Dankern Holiday Park, lies in the heart of the Emsland region. The recreational park is located in the grounds of the historic Dankern Castle, which was built in 1680. There is plenty to do on the 200 hectare complex, but visitors also have ample opportunity to relax. With more than 200 play areas, leisure facilities and sports activities, there is no chance of getting bored. If the weather is not on your side, the two indoor play areas are the perfect places to pass the time, whatever your age! If your holiday is not complete without a dip in the water, you will love the large outdoor swimming pool near Dankern Castle. Alternatively, the Dankern lake just a few metres from the outdoor pool boasts excellent water quality and features sand dunes, sports facilities and a three kilometre sandy beach.

If that’s not enough for you, the TOPAS indoor water playground with its four slides, 3,100 square metre hall and pools amounting to a total water area of 850 square metres is open all year round.
