The Happy Rizzi House, founded in 2001 by internationally renowned New York artist James Rizzi, is located on the outskirts of Brunswick’s historic Magni district. James Rizzi is a world famous artist with a blossoming, fantastic and fascinating imagination. Thanks to his boldness and his ability to create something extraordinary time and again, his artwork has conquered the world. His personal mission is to be a bit different and to stand out from the crowd.
The bright, beaming towers of the Happy Rizzi House take the form of a three-dimensional structure and walk-in architectural sculpture. Screen-printed glass membranes illuminate the Happy Rizzi House. The architecture builds on both the buoyant colours of Pop Art, as well as the luminous crystal of the 1920s. Brunswick-based architect Konrad Kloster designed the building. Today it is an office block and therefore not open to the public.
