Things to bear in mind when choosing a canoe tour operator

For your own safety and to protect the natural environment, follow the following criteria when choosing a canoe supplier and rentals :

  • You receive comprehensive advice before you book (tour length, difficulty, transport)
  • The equipment appears correct, safe and well-maintained
  • Appropriate life vests are provided free of charge (including children’s life vests)
  • You are given a comprehensive briefing before starting your tour, including information on nature protection and hazards specific to that river (weirs etc.)

The quality seal with the criteria listed above guarantees trained staff, sustainable business management and adherence to nature protection aspects.

Some canoe suppliers and rentals in Niedersachsen (Lower Saxony) have already implemented the seal and offer you outstanding canoe service quality.
